Cape Town – Ever wonder what Harry-Potter cutie pootie Daniel Radcliffe is doing with his time now that his role in the incredibly successful film franchise is over?
He’s making out with sexy Spiderman star Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn)!
Like this:
At least he was, when they filmed his new movie Kill Your Darlings set to have its South African première on Wednesday at The Out in Africa film festival in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
The film was directed by John Krokidas and is a biopic about poet Allen Ginsberg who many call the voice of his generation. His works are among the most iconic in the contemporary English literature canon and still referenced today in ways that young people may not realize.
Like, do you know his piece entitled Howl? Probably not, but we bet you know an Angel-headed hipster(s)? That’s his phrase. He made his words have a beat with no music in stiff 1950s America. No mean feat.
Even if you know nothing about him/don’t care about poetry icons the love story turned tragedy between Allen Ginsberg (Daniel Radcliffe) and Lucien Carr (Dane DeHaan) is worth a peek.
