Daniel Craig 'can't wait' for new Bond

Los Angeles - Daniel Craig is "as excited" about the forthcoming James Bond movie, which is set to be filmed in South Africa, as he was with Casino Royale.

The actor portrayed the British spy for the first time in Casino Royale, but he admits the forthcoming third inception – directed by Sam Mendes – has left him particularly keen to work on it again.

He said: "We've got a great script this time. I'm as excited about this script as I was about the Casino Royale script. I think in Sam we've got the perfect director. The cast is coming together now. I can't wait to get going with it."

When asked if Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem would be joining him on the highly anticipated movie, he told MTV News: "I hope so, I hope so."

The movie is set to go into production soon, with Dame Judi Dench reviving the role of spy boss M, while Naomie Harris has been rumoured to be taking on the role of Miss Moneypenny.
