Los Angeles - Emma Watson thinks her American accent is "terrible".
The 21-year-old actress has recently been filming one of her first roles since completion of the Harry Potter series, working on indie movie 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower', and the British star is concerned her regional dialect may not have been too good.
She said: "My accent? I was really nervous. I think it sounded terrible!"
Nervous
Emma has enjoyed working on the movie - about the observations of a young boy exploring the difficulties of adolescence, based on the book of the same name by Stephen Chbosky - and reveals she is "hopeful" about its success.
She added to MTV News: "It's good. Having been out in Pittsburgh for four weeks - it's OK. It's good. I'm hopeful about it."
It is not the first time Emma has been nervous about working on a film, recently admitting she was "genuinely terrified" by the war scenes in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
She said: "They put plugs in our ears to protect our eardrums, but you can still hear because you're so close to the bangs. There's this one scene where they detonated all of these bombs, like, right next to us. I was absolutely, genuinely terrified."
