Cape Town - Channing Tatum lets it all hang out in the debut trailer for Magic Mike, a new romantic comedy about a group of male strippers.
Channing stars as Mike Martingano, a seasoned stripper who takes a younger man named "The Kid" (played by I Am Number Four star Alex Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money.
Full frontal nudity
Mike meets The Kid's sexy sister and Paige (Cody Horn) and romance blooms as she helps him realise his dream of making custom-made furniture, but his stripping job gets in the way of their relationship.
Magic Mike is directed by Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Ocean's Eleven) and also stars Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer and CSI: Miami star Adam Rodriguez as male strippers.
True Blood werewolf Joe Manganiello plays a stripper who goes by the stage name Big Dick Richie.
According to a source close to the project, the racy film will include shots of full frontal male nudity.
Magic Mike is set for release in South Africa on 20 July.
