First look at Matt Damon in Bourne 5!

Cape Town – After 8 years Matt Damon returns as Jason Bourne in Bourne 5.

Filming of the latest installment of the box office hit has begun and producer Frank Marshall shared this picture on Twitter of the actor on set.

Looking good Matt!

We previously reported that Matt was in talks to reprise his role as the amnesiac assassin.

Matt has said that he would return to the role if Paul Greengrass, who directed The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, returned.

With Greengrass back at the helm, it’s good to see Matt back in his iconic role!

Jeremy Renner played the lead in the fourth film, The Bourne Legacy, directed by Tony Gilroy.

The film is expected to be released in cinemas in 2016. The title of the film is yet to be revealed.
