Glee star unrecognisable in final movie role

Los Angeles - Glee star Cory Monteith, who died tragically last month at the age of 31 from a lethal combination of heroin and alcohol, can be seen in his final ever movie role.

The first image of Monteith in the crime drama, McCanick - which sees the late star play a drug addicted street hustler - was released on Tuesday following the announcement that the movie will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

In the cop drama, Monteith plays Simon Weeks, a drug addict who is in prison for murder.
