Her latest movie, Still Alice has been getting rave reviews since it debuted at the Toronto Film Festival earlier this year. Critics are saying that this role might just win her that coveted golden statue.
In fact she has already bagged the best actress award for her role at the Gotham Independent Film Awards.
In Still Alice, Julianne plays Dr. Alice Howland a linguistics professor who discovers she has early onset Alzheimers. In the trailer we see how Alice and her family process the news and grapple with the disease.
Alec Baldwin plays her husband and her three children are played by Kristen Stewart, Kate Bosworth, and Hunter Parrish.
