Cape Town - Jack Parow has announced that he will feature in new Afrikaans vampire movie Bloedsuiers.
Parow will contribute a specially written song to the soundtrack and will also be making a cameo appearance in the film.
"Whether he will play a human, villain or vampire will remain under wraps," said producer Benjamin Cowley. "Fans will have to wait to see the film when it's released".
Lekker vibes
Parow shared his excitement about working with fellow music artists and friends Francois van Coke and Inge Beckmann on the film. "'n Vampire movie… dis kool ouens. Super excited to be in a fliek with Francois and Inge. Lekker vibes," he said.
The movie, described by the filmmakers as a horror-comedy revolves around two vampire hunters who go in search of a vampire prince in the Karoo.
The producers also undertook a bold "crowd funding" initiative to help finance the movie. Filming on Bloedsuiers is set to begin at the end of May or early June.
