Los Angeles - Jason Sudeikis is in talks to star in a new comedy heist film.
The Horrible Bosses funnyman could star alongside fellow comedians Kristen Wiig, Zach Galafianakis and Owen Wilson in the movie - which was previously titled Loomis Fargo - directed by Jared Hess, reports Deadline.
The screenplay, which was written by Emily Spivey, follows an armoured truck driver who is persuaded by a group of thieves to help them in their heist.
He reluctantly agrees, only to be double-crossed by his cohorts and finds himself on the run in Mexico.
The driver then plots revenge on the criminals, who are living lavishly after stealing $20m from a bank vault.
The film is being financed and distributed by Relativity Media and will be produced by Saturday Night Live executive producer Lorne Michaels, as well as John Goldwyn.
Comedian Danny McBride, Jody Hill, Michael Aguilar and Kevin Messick will serve as executive producers.
Sudeikis is coming off of the success of last year's hit comedy We're the Millers, which is rumoured to be getting a sequel.
He will be back on the big screen later this year in Horrible Bosses 2, the follow-up to the 2011 dark comedy which co-starred Jason Bateman and Charlie Day.
