Los Angeles - Jennifer Lawrence could soon join the cast of Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight.
The actress is currently locked in discussions over an undisclosed role in the film, though it is possible that she will be handed the part of Daisy Domergue, the female lead character, Collider reports.
The flick centres on the ever-increasing tensions between a group of stagecoach passengers, after a snowstorm causes them to divert from their route and seek safety in an isolated saloon.
The group comprises an interesting mix of characters, including a prisoner, a pair of bounty hunters, and a renegade Confederate soldier, which means sparks will inevitably fly.
Although the cast list has still to be officially confirmed, it is widely expected that Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Madsen will all feature in the much-hyped flick.
The Hateful Eight is expected to open in December 2015.
Meanwhile, Lawrence is rumoured to be seeing Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with a source telling The Sun newspaper that he was attracted to the 24-year-old actress because of her laidback attitude.
The source said: "Jennifer is loads of fun and they can't stop laughing when they are together."
