Los Angeles - Jeremy Renner could reprise the role of Hawkeye in Captain America 3.
The actor, who appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier alongside the likes of Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson, admits he's not sure of whether or not he will appear in the eagerly-awaited flick, but says rumours about the cast and script are starting to emerge.
He said: "There are rumblings of Captain America 3. I don't know what's going to happen there. I've got to find the time, man! I'm trying to stay home and I can't."
The script for the new flick is currently being penned by Joe and Anthony Russo.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that during an an interview with Movies.com Russo hinted that big things will happen in the third installment. He teased saying that fans are going to freak out.
Before then, however, will be the next instalment in the Avengers franchise, which may give some clues as to what fan can expect from Captain America 3.
