Los Angeles - Jim Carrey is very proud his daughter is on the Dumb and Dumber To soundtrack.
The 52-year-old actor, who reprises his role as dim-witted Lloyd Christmas alongside Jeff Daniels in the new film, is thrilled former American Idol contestant Jane Carrey, 27, has recorded two songs for the comedy.
He said: "They're beautiful. It's all my talent, really. We sang together in the car a lot. But one day I heard her and I was like, 'Damn!' "
Jim was initially reluctant to do a sequel, but decided to sign on after fans begged him for two decades.
He added to Us Weekly magazine: "I'm not really a sequel guy. [But] I realised I wanted to be with the gang again. I was like, 'Let's go have some fun!' "
"Lloyd is a part of me. I just whack the tooth out and start thinking selfishly.
"I tried to get them to turn it into a vampire movie, but no go! I did make sure the Mutt Cutts van made an appearance."
The actor admitted he loves the original movie, which was released in 1994, so much he watches the it when it is on TV.
He said: "I'll watch it for 10 minutes when it pops up on TV."
However, when Jim is not expecting to make a third movie with Jeff.
He said: "[Lloyd] will have lost an eye in a bar brawl. But there's no real arc for these guys - they're going to fall into the grave stupid!"
