Jude Law wants third Sherlock movie

London- Jude Law thinks there's "still a lot of legs" left in the Sherlock Holmes franchise.

The actor starred alongside Robert Downey Jr in the first two movies, playing the detective's sidekick Dr John Watson, and he says they're both keen for a third film although doesn't know when it will happen.

He told Collider.com: "No I don't know when we're going to start shooting. I mean there's certainly talk of it and I know there's a script being played around with, but Downey's a busy boy and I'm a busy boy so we'll see. But we want to [do another one]. We're a very happy team and we have a lot of fun and we also think there's still a lot of legs in the duo."

Jude recently revealed he changed his style when he grew a moustache for his role as Watson.

He said: "My style changes with roles. Having a moustache and sideburns as Watson in the Sherlock Holmes films forced me to try new clothes.

"Jeans and a leather jacket didn't look so good anymore, so I bought a corduroy jacket and big snuggly jumpers. Suddenly, they looked cool."
