Kristen Bell loves Burlesque

2010-12-20 15:56

Los Angeles - Kristen Bell was "out of her comfort zone" while filming Burlesque.

The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star - who plays bad girl Nikki in the film alongside Cher and Christina Aguilera - was delighted to showcase a different side to her acting talents as the movie is so different to anything else she has ever done.

She told BANG Showbiz: "I wanted to be involved because it's not like anything I'd ever done. It's kind of out of my comfort zone. I'm very comfortable playing cute and bubbly and this is not all that! It really made you own your sexuality. It was challenging."

Despite working with two huge musical divas in Cher and Christina, Kristen thought it was a harmonious set to work on because it was filled with "women who love women".

She said: "They were fantastic to work with. I literally, I wish I had some dramatic story to share, but the women on this movie in particular are women that love other women so it was a really supportive atmosphere, it wasn't like you'd picture, like a bunch of catfights like we had on screen!"
