Los Angeles - Anna Faris and her husband Chris Pratt have been cast in comedy Vacation Friends.
The married stars - who have 18-month-old son Jack together - are set to put their real life chemistry to the test when they appear as an on-screen couple.
The movie centres around a straight-laced couple who become pals with a wild and eccentric couple (Faris and Pratt) during a holiday to Mexico, but upon return from their holiday they are dismayed to find their newfound crazy friends are trying to keep the party going.
Deadline.com reports, 20th Century Fox has bought the script from brothers Tom and Tim Mullen in a "near seven-figure deal", with Hot Tub Time Machine director Steve Pink on board to direct.
Todd Garner will be producing through his Broken Road Picture banner.
Scary Movie star Faris and Pratt have acting opposite each other in the past, since they met on the set of Take Me Home Tonight in 2008, and got married the following July.
Faris is currently on sitcom Mom and Pratt will next be seen in Guardians Of The Galaxy.
