Los Angeles – Mila Kunis is in talks to star in new comedy Ted.
The film – which is the directorial debut of Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane – will star Mark Wahlberg as a grown man reunited with a life-size version of his treasured childhood Teddy bear, Ted, who quickly starts to come between him and his girlfriend, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Black Swan star Mila will play the girlfriend who grows tired of his relationship with Ted and turns to her boss, set to be played by Parks & Recreation actor Adam Scott – for comfort.
The $65m, R-rated comedy was co-written by Seth and his Family Guy cohorts Wellesley Wild and Alec Sulkin, and will be co-produced by Seth and John Jacobs.
Seth will provide the voice of the cursing, smoking, delinquent bear, who will be brought to life through a live action format.
Mila has previously worked with the writer as the voice of Meg Griffin on Family Guy and can next be seen in Friends with Benefits with Justin Timberlake.
