The Amazing Spiderman 1 vs 2
San Diego - Andrew Garfield's Spiderman suit in the 2014 sequel will have an embedded MP3-player in his web shooter.

Designer Deborah Lynn Scott, who won an Oscar for her costume design in Titanic, revealed the new feature in an interview with Entertainment Weekly at the annual Comic-Con convention in San Diego. "You'll see early on in the film that he can turn music on that he's listening to inside the costume through his web shooter."

Other differences to the first movie involves bigger, more expressive eyes, a mathematically designed spider logo on the chest, an added belt and darker colours with richer tones.

Previous criticism

Fans of the franchise criticised The Amazing Spiderman for not sticking to the original comic book version of the famous red and blue suit. This influenced the new design according to the producer Avi Arad. "The truth is we heard the world."

Filming has just finished for The Amazing Spiderman 2 which will be released next year in the beginning of May.
