Cape Town – The Orange is the New Black star, Ruby Rose, has touched down in Cape Town.
The actress joins Milla Jovovich in the Mother City where filming of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is currently underway.
Rose shared the news of her arrival on her Instagram account; “Just touched down in CAPE TOWN. It's beautiful.(sic)”
According to ComicBook.com Rose and four other actors, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Eoin Macken and William Levy, have been added to the cast of the sixth and final installment in the series.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is currently being filmed in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Channel24 reported earlier this week that Jovovich’s stunt double,Olivia Jackson, was seriously injured on set in Johannesburg when a stunt went wrong.
Jackson "collided with a camera crane while performing a motorcycle stunt" causing "multiple and severe injuries".
Jovovich shared news of the accident on her Facebook account, writing; “I wasn’t personally there to witness it, but from the reports I got, it was awful. None of us have experienced anything like this in our careers making action films and hope we never do again. It’s a miracle that she survived.”
