Orlando Bloom could be back for more Pirates of the Caribbean

Los Angeles - Orlando Bloom is "in talks" to return to Pirates of the Caribbean.

The 37-year-old actor - who played Will Turner in the first three instalments of the franchise - has admitted that he would consider returning for the fifth film, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

He told IGN UK: "I'm not entirely sure that I'll be back just yet, but there are talks.

Check Bloom out as his character, Will Turner:

"Basically they want to reboot the whole franchise, I think, and do something with me and the relationship with my son.

"I'm of course Davey Jones now, so I'm down the bottom of the ocean. It might be kind of fun to do something where

I'm rumbling round the bottom of the ocean, because I won't look anything like me."

The only actor confirmed for the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film is Johnny Depp, who will be reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow.

Geoffrey Rush is expected to return as Barbossa, whilst Javier Bardem is the hotly-tipped to play new villain Captain

Brand, a ghost who blames Captain Jack Sparrow for the murder of his brother and is hell-bent on getting his revenge.

Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg will direct the new instalment and shooting will begin in Australia in early 2015.

The film is expected to be released in July 2017.
