Orlando Bloom looking dapper while promoting South African film

Tokyo - Hunky British star Orlando Bloom looked relaxed and friendly on Wednesday as he attended a press conference for his new film Zulu in Tokyo, Japan.

Orlando and his ex-wife Miranda Kerr caused quite a stir in 2012 while filming Zulu in Cape Town when they were spotted out and about in the Mother City enjoying the sites with their son Flynn.

Set in post-apartheid South Africa, Zulu tells of two cops, played by Orlando and Forest Whitaker, who are assigned the job of tracking down the murderer of the 18-year-old daughter of a champion rugby player.

During the course of the investigation it's revealed that the murder is connected to South Africa's apartheid history.

Zulu is based on the novel of the same name by French author Caryl Ferey and was written and directed by The Tourist screenwriter Jérôme Salleand.

The film is set for release in South Africa in October 2014.
