Wellington – Director Peter Jackson has released the first of a series of video blogs that allows fans to see some behind the scenes action on the set of The Hobbit.
The 10 minute production video gives those eagerly awaiting the film adaptation of the epic JRR Tolkien masterpiece - and prequel to The Lord of the Rings trilogy - a sneak peek at the lead up to filming as well as set and costume design.
Jackson mentions that this video blog is the first in a series that will be uploaded on the film's official blog website over the next two or three years as filming continues.
