Pitch Perfect cast to perform at MTV Awards

Los Angeles - The cast of Pitch Perfect will perform at the MTV Movie Awards.

Host Rebel Wilson will be joined by co-stars Skylar Astin, Anna Camp, Esther Dean, Adam Devine, Alexis Knapp, Hana Mae Lee, Ben Platt and Brittany Snow as they reprise their roles as rival a cappella groups, The Barden Bellas and Treblemakers at the Los Angeles ceremony on 14 April.

Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore will stage the performance and said: "I could not be more thrilled for the MTV Movie Awards to be the setting for the Pitch Perfect Bella and Treblemaker reunion. We have something exciting in store for the MTV audience, and I know the cast and the fans are going to really enjoy our first-ever live performance!"

The film is nominated for four MTV Movie Awards including Best Female and Best Breakthrough Performances for Rebel, Best Musical Moment and Best WTF Moment.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will perform new single Can't Hold Us at the ceremony, joining previously announced performer Selena Gomez who is set to deliver her first televised rendition of her new single, Come & Get It.

Following the performances, fans will be able to view the performances via MovieAwards.MTV.com and Artists.MTV.

The MTV Movie Awards will be aired in South Africa on MTV (DStv channel 130) including the Movie Awards pre-show on Monday, 15 April at 20:10.
