Los Angeles - Rebel Wilson wants to make a "Fat Amy origins story".

The 29-year-old actress has returned to play the hilarious Barden Bellas singer in Pitch Perfect 2, and admitted she hopes she gets to tell the back-story of her character in a future film.

Speaking about what she would like to see in a potential sequel, she said: All the Bellas are together becoming a legit singing group out of college. I also think a Fat Amy origins story would be awesome."

However, the idea isn't the only musical movie she has her eye on, as the Grimsby star confessed she is eager to make an on-screen appearance as a rapper at some point in the future.

She said: "I was a fan of Glee. I'd love to do something where I play a female rapper."

And although a further project is yet to be approved, the movie's writer Kay Cannon insists she has no plans to hand over the reins to someone else, and would be keen for 46-year-old actor Tracy Morgan to be involved if they did make another.

She told the Hollywood Reporter: "I do want to write the third one. I don't want to give over my baby to someone else. I would love to see Tracy Morgan in it. Not only because I think he's hilarious, but I miss him and want to see him perform again."
