Rihanna plays a teenage girl in new animation movie

Los Angeles - The first official trailer for DreamWorks's much hyped animation Home has been released.

The animation film features Rihanna who plays a teenage girl named Tip.

Home is a 3D computer animated film chronicles the story of Tip and Oh (Jim Parsons) an alien from a nomadic species called Boov. Tip and Oh embark on a mission to save Earth.

Rihanna is amazing as a voice artist in this animation, her Bajan accent gives Tip a very cute voice which makes the character likeable.  

The animation also features voices of other Hollywood stars like Jennifer Lopez, Steve Martin and Jim Parsons.

Home is set for release on 27 March 2015.
