Robin Williams’ ashes scattered in San Fransisco Bay

Los Angeles – The celebrity magazine, Us Weekly, reported on Thursday that Robin Williams’ ashes had been scattered in San Francisco Bay.

Radar Online published Williams’ death certificate that indicated that he had been cremated.

The certificate, issued in Marin County, cited his cause of death as “pending investigation”.

A funeral service for Williams took place at Monte's Chapel of the Hills, a funeral home in San Anselmo.

The beloved actor took his own life on 11 August.  He was found dead at his home in Tiburon, California, with a belt pulled around his neck and ''acute, superficial cuts'' on the inside of his left wrist.

Williams had been open about his struggles with alcohol and cocaine and in the past months had entered a rehabilitation centre to help him maintain sobriety, BangShowBiz reported.

The Mrs Doubtfire star's wife, Susan Schneider, revealed that her husband was in the ''early stages'' of Parkinson's Disease, but he didn't feel ready to speak about his illness publicly at the time.
