Los Angeles - Quentin Tarantino's new film The Hateful Eight is to begin filming in January.
The new movie, which is expected to debut in cinemas in 2015, will see Tarantino once again team up with Bob and Harvey Weinstein, which is consistent with the fact that all of his films have been released on Miramax or TWC, both of which were founded by the Weinsteins.
In a statement, the Weinsteins said: "We are incredibly excited to begin production on, The Hateful Eight, as we know this picture will be as innovative, brash and of course fun as all Quentin projects prior.
"There is, quite simply, no other filmmaker like him, and we are as proud as ever to continue this partnership that started over 20 years ago."
Details of the eagerly-awaited film are few and far between, but the Weinsteins have already described it as "the widest 70mm release for over 20 years".
Last month, it was reported that Jennifer Lawrence could soon join the cast of 'The Hateful Eight'.
It's possible that Lawrence will be handed the part of Daisy Domergue, the female lead character, according to Collider.
