Ted Danson joins SA's first 3D film

Cape Town – Well-known actor Ted Danson has joined the cast for the first South African 3D animated film, Jock of the Bushveld, reports YOU.

Danson, known for his role as Sam Malone in the TV series Cheers, will be the voice for Jock's best friend, Pezulu the rooster.

Together with Danson audiences will also hear the voices of Helen Hunt, Donald Sutherland, Bryan Adams and even Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu.

Jock of the Bushveld will open in local theatres on July 29 2011.
