The Terminator’s son lands his first leading role

Los Angeles - Patrick Schwarzenegger is set to follow in his famous father’s footsteps after bagging his first major role.

According to Deadline the 21-year-old hunk will star alongside Bella Thorne in the young adult romance Midnight Sun.

Bella will play Katie a teenager who has lived a sheltered life due to a rare disease which makes the slightest exposure to sun dangerous for her.

Patrick will play Charlie her love interest whom she meets one summer. The pair will embark on a summer romance. #summerloving

The pair have previously sparked dating rumours maybe this will blossom into a real life romance.

The film will be directed by Scott Speer and will start filming in September.

Patrick’s mom was the first person to congratulate him on his upcoming role.
