Theatre sent porn DVDs to children

Edinburgh - A theatre accidentally sent porn DVDs to children.

The Edinburgh Playhouse in Scotland has apologised for the gaffe which saw an estimated one hundred children and their families sent X-rated footage instead of recordings of their theatre summer school courses.

The establishment claim they'd tasked film production company Edit House with creating and distributing clips from their summer classes.

A spokesman told BBC News: "We took immediate measures to recall all of the DVDs, sought the advice of the police and notified those affected customers as a matter of urgency.

"The error occurred at the third party place of manufacture and we have demanded that the DVD production company launches a full investigation into the incident."
