Thor 2 is coming to Comic-Con

Los Angeles - Marvel has revealed Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be presented at Comic-Con.

As well confirming the much-anticipated titles will feature at the convention, which takes place in San Diego, California, from 18-21 July, the studio has also hinted it might officially unveil its full Phase Three line-up.

Marvel said the panel will feature "an inside look at the ever-expanding Marvel cinematic universe," which comes shortly after it announced release dates for untitled films on July 8, 2016, and May 5, 2017.

Kevin Feige, Marvel Studio's president of production, will be on hand at the presentation, and Thor stars Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman are expected to appear at the convention, while Captain America's Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson have also been rumoured.

Several other hotly-anticipated movies are also set for Comic-Con this year including The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and RoboCop, Sony has confirmed.

Andrew Garfield - who is reprising his role of Spider-Man in the sequel - will be present at the event to promote the motion picture, as will co-stars Jamie Foxx and Dane DeHann, producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach and director Marc Webb.
