Los Angeles – Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan will star in their fourth movie together.
According to Deadline.com Hanks will star alongside Ryan in her directorial debut in the film adaption of William Saroyan's classic 1943 novel The Human Comedy.
Hanks is reportedly in talks to a make a cameo in the coming of age drama set in World War II.
The film tells the story of a teenage bike messenger who’s older brother went off to join the war leaving him to take care of his widowed mom and his two siblings.
Also set to star in the film is Melanie Griffith, Sam Shepard and Ryan’s son, Jack Quaid.
Filming is set to begin next month in Virginia.
