Twilight Breaking Dawn Pt 2 teaser lands

Cape Town - The first full teaser trailer for the final instalment in the Twilight franchise, Breaking Dawn Part 2, has arrived, courtesy of Summit Entertainment, and shows the first scenes of Bella as a bloodthirsty vampire.

At the end of Breaking Dawn Part 1, newlyweds Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson), a century-old vampire, and his human bride Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), welcomed their hybrid baby daughter, Renesmee, into the world.

Super-speed

But Bella died during the harrowing childbirth.

Edward's attempts to turn her into a vampire at the last minute at first appeared to have failed - until Bella awoke with red eyes just before the end credits rolled.

The brand new teaser opens with Bella's voiceover: "After 18 years of being ordinary, I finally found that I can shine."

Other scenes show Bella making use of her new super-speed as she hunts for prey through the woods of Forks, Washington.

Breaking Dawn Part 2 is the fifth and final film in the vampire-romance saga after author Stephenie Meyer's final book in the series was split into two films.

In the film, the Cullens face the all-powerful vampire coven the Volturi, who seek to destroy Renesmee, when they are informed that she is an "immortal child" - a vampire species which has been outlawed.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 is set to be released in cinemas worldwide in 3D on November 16.
