Cape Town - It's been 15 years since the last Godzilla movie, who starred Matthew Broderick, and even decades longer since the original Gojira.

The upcoming 2014 version, directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, has finally given the public a taste of what to expect.

Warner Bros released on Monday five teasers to the reboot, with some quick flashes of a scared Olsen and a crying Cranston, but no real image of the new Godzilla.

The full trailer will be released on Tuesday morning US time.

In the age of reboots, remakes and sequels, let's hope this one will only be similar to those that came before it in name and monster.
