WATCH: John Krasinski plays a soldier on a mission in <em>13 Hours</em>

Cape Town – John Krasinski’s new role is no laughing matter.

The usual funny guy is decked out in camo gear and war paint in two new trailers for 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

Directed by Michael Bay the true story is based on Mitchell Zuckoff’s book.

It tells the story of the six members of a security team who fought to defend the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, after the attack of radical Islamist terrorists on September 11, 2012.

The film also stars: James Badge Dale, Max Martini, Toby Stephens, Pablo Schreiber, David Denman, Dominic Fumusa, Demetrius Grosse and Freddie Stroma.

The film will be released in South African cinemas in February 2016.
