Cape Town - There's a storm coming.
This is how Anne Hathaway introduces the looming madness of the final Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises.
Warner Bros officially released the trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises on Monday, while teasers and fan-made trailers have been surfacing online since July 2011.
The 2-minute look at the follow-up to 2008's The Dark Knight sees Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman (played by Anne Hathaway), warn Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) that despite the feeling of peace in the air, disaster is on its way.
We are also introduced to Batman's newest nemesis, Bane (played by Tom Hardy), with his nasal, mechanical voice ahead of a jaw-dropping scene involving a collapsing football field.
Three stars from Inception, Christopher Nolan's 2010 masterpiece, take up roles in this film, namely Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Hardy.
The Dark Knight Rises is set for release in July 2012.
