Watch this newscaster pay witty tribute to Robin Williams in a special way

Washington - A television news anchor in the southern United States paid a witty tribute to Robin Williams by name checking 22 of the late actor's movies in a sports roundup.

"For those of you who suffer from Insomnia, Saturday's Braves game was perfect for you," said Zach Klein of WSB television in Atlanta, Georgia as he launched into his two-and-a-half minute report just hours after Williams, 63, died Monday of an apparent suicide.

From there Klein described a baseball player with Happy Feet, and how another flexed his muscles like Popeye.

Nods to such Williams films as Mrs Doubtfire, One Hour Photo, Hook, World's Greatest Day and Moscow on the Hudson got cameo mentions as well.

"Honestly, I just wanted to do something to show my appreciating for the greatness that was Robin Williams," Klein told AFP via email on Tuesday.

"It was a hard day for so many and I thought a subtle tribute to a man many loved and admired was the least I could do," he added.
