All the nominees for AMVCAs 2017

Cape Town – The nominees for the fifth annual Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) have been announced. 

In association with MultiChoice, the awards set out to recognise the best that the African film and television industry has to offer.

Popular Nigerian actress and TV presenter, Mitchelle Dede, and renowned Kenyan actor, radio presenter and TV host Fareed Khimani announced the nominees during a special live broadcast which aired on all Africa Magic channels on DStv and GOtv.

South African films, Mrs Right Guy and Happiness is a Four-Letter Word will go head to head in the Best Overall Movie category.

Other South African nominees are Vaya, The Jakes Are Missing, Alison and Umlilio.
