All the winners of the 2016 People's Choice Awards

Los Angeles – The People’s Choice Awards held on Wednesday at the Microsoft Theatre kicked off the awards season.

Furious 7 was named favourite movie, The Big Bang Theory won top TV show, and Ellen DeGeneres set a record at the People's Choice Awards.

The fan-voted prizes were presented at a ceremony hosted by Jane Lynch.

Ellen DeGeneres received a humanitarian award, as well as the trophy for favourite daytime TV host, bringing her total People's Choice wins to a record-tying 17.
