Bette Midler has no time for the Hocus Pocus remake

Cape Town – We reported earlier that Disney is working on a Hocus Pocus made for television remake.

Needless to say the fans reacted in anger that the cult classic is getting a remake and not a sequel and that none of the original stars will be returning.

The 1993 original movie starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as three witches — known as the Sanderson sisters.

And now one of the original Sanderson sisters has had her say.

Speaking to People Milder told the publication that she expects the movie to be cheap.

She went on to say that casting her character Winifred Sanderson is going to be very hard.

“I’m not sure what they’re going to do with my character,” she said. “My character is very, very broad and I don’t know who they’re going to find to play that.”

And if you still had some hope after that she went on to say that no amount of money would entice to even make a cameo.
