Cape Town – Charlize Theron is the latest high profile actress to add her voice to the sexual harassment allegations against Harvey Weinstein.
Last week the New York Times published a story about the movie mogul claiming that he has been sexually harassing women for years.

Theron who has worked with him on The Cider House Rules (1999), Reindeer Games (2000), and The Yards (2000) has now added her voice.
In a statement to Buzzfeed News the actress praised the women who have spoken out about the abuse, she went on to say that while she did not have a personal experience with him she is not surprised as this is a culture that not only exists in Hollywood but all over the world.

In a 2005 interview with Marie Claire Theron spoke about a harassment incident early in her career.
She had to do an audition at a director's house and thought maybe this was normal.
"I go inside and he's offering me a drink, and I'm thinking, 'My god, this acting stuff is very relaxed.' But it soon becomes very clear what the situation was. I was like, 'Not going to happen! Got the wrong girl, buddy!'"
