Cape Town – We reported recently that Neill Blomkamp has embarked on a new experimental filmmaking project called Oats Studios. (Read more here.)
The studio will release a series of short films which will be available on YouTube and streaming service, Stream.
The first film Rakka has debuted and features the queen of sci-fi Sigourney Weaver.
It follows a group of humans who have survived an alien invasion on Earth.

But that’s not all he has released.
The newest addition is a wacky 80s style infomercial. In the clip presenter, Bill shows off the latest kitchen utensil – a gas-powered knife contraption called the Damasu 950.
