Chris Evans tops Forbes best of the buck list

Cape Town – Chris Evans has been named Forbes magazine's Best Actor for the Buck.

This is the second year in a row the superhero actor tops the list.

But what exactly does best of the buck mean?

Well essentially Evans' is the best return on invest – his movies averaged $135.80 (R1 840) at the box office for every $1 (R13) he was paid, reports Forbes. 

To compile the list Forbes looked at the estimate earnings of their Celebrity 100 list. They then looked at the last three films the actors starred in before 2016 excluding animation films, small roles and limited release films. 

Coming in at number two is Chris Pratt who raked in $125.40 (R1 713)

Numbers three and four are Scarlett Johansson and Mila Kunis with Vin Diesel rounding out the Top 5.
