Critics are saying this was the best film at Sundance

Cape Town - Marjorie Prime debuted to critical acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year where it won the Sloane Feature Film Prize.

Based on the Jordan Harrison's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play the film explores memory and identity, love and loss.

Jon Hamm plays a compturised version of 86-year-old Marjorie's (Lois Smith) dead husband.

He is programmed to feed the story of her life back to her via accounts from Marjorie, her daughter (Geena Davis) and son-in-law (Tim Robbins).

As they interact with him they recount their lives and recreate their painful past.
