First look at Woody Allen's film starring Kate Winslet

Cape Town – Woody Allen's previously untitled project finally has a name and a trailer. 

Wonder Wheel tells the story of four characters whose lives intertwine amid the bustle of a Coney Island amusement park in the 1950.

Kate Winslet plays Ginny, an emotionally volatile former actress now working as a waitress in a clam house; Jim Belushi is Humpty, Ginny’s rough-hewn carousel operator husband; Justin Timberlake plays Mickey, a handsome young lifeguard who dreams of becoming a playwright; and Juno Temple is Carolina Humpty's estranged daughter.

The film will have its premiere as the closing film at the 55th New York Film Festival later this month. 

It will be released in SA cinemas on 22 December.
