Cape Town – The first teaser trailer for the Tupac biopic, All Eyez on Me was released on the rapper's birthday.
He would have celebrated his 45th birthday on 16 June.
The story tells of his humble beginnings, his rise to fame and his death in a drive-by shooting in 1996.

Demetrius Shipp Jr. plays Tupac, Jamal Woolard reprises his role as Notorious B.I.G. after playing the East Coast rapper in Notorious (2009).
Other cast members include Kat Graham who will play Jada Pinkett Smith, Stefon Washington as Puff Daddy and Lauren Cohan as Leila Steinberg, Tupac's manager and mentor.
The film is set to be released in the US in November 2016.
