Cape Town – The Toronto Film festival is in full swing.
Day 6 saw the premiere of the true life oil rig disaster film, Deep Water Horizon.
On 20 April 2010, one of the world’s largest man-made disasters occurred on the Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico. The film tells the story of the brave men and women whose heroism save many on board, and changed everyone’s lives forever.

Gina Rodriguez, who stars in the film, headed out to Canada for the annual film festival.
The Jane the Virgin star, who is a festival newbie, is having the time of her life.
She documented behind-the-scenes footage of what's happening at the festival and hanging out with her co-stars on Snapchat.
Later the evening Gina walked the red carpet and stopped to take selfies with her fans.
