Hannibal Buress sent a lookalike to the Spider-Man premiere

Cape Town – Hannibal Buress couldn’t make it to the Spider-Man: Homecoming premiere so he sent a lookalike.

The comedian who plays Coach Wilson in the latest instalment put out an advert on Twitter earlier in the day for a stand in.

He tweeted: "L.A I need a lookalike with solid comedic timing for an event tonight. Pays $500."

A wannabe actor Joe Carroll got the gig, and he had everyone fooled from security to the press.

He even posed for pictures with fans.
