Harrison Ford and Anthony Hopkins to star in political drama

Los Angeles - Harrison Ford is to star with Sir Anthony Hopkins in Official Secrets.

The two acting legends have joined the cast of the film which will tell the true story of a British whistleblower who worked to expose alleged National Security Agency (NSA) lies ahead of the 2003 invasion of Iraq by the US and Britain.

Ford, 73, has been cast in the role of a CIA agent who is tasked with hunting down the whistleblower, who is played by Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games Natalie Dormer.

The 33-year-old actress will star as Katharine Gun, who was a real life employee of the British intelligence service who tried to leak her story to a journalist, who will be played by Paul Bettany, and Martin Freeman, who will portray his editor.

Hopkins, 78, will have the role of a retired British Army general.

Ford - who is also working on a sequel to Blade Runner with Ryan Gosling - shouldn't have too much trouble portraying a man of the law.

In 1992 movie Patriot Games he was seen as retired CIA analyst Jack Ryan who gets caught up in a terrorist attack in London while on vacation.
