Here's an eerie first look at the new Pirates of the Caribbean

Cape Town – After numerous delays and behind-the-scenes drama the fifth instalment of the Pirates of Caribbean is about ready to go. 

The first teaser trailer was revealed on Sunday evening during the finale of Fear the Walking Dead.

In the clip we get a first look at Javier Bardem's Captain Salazar and he is creepy AF.

A zombie like figure with blood dripping from his mouth, he gives Henry (Brenton Thwaites) a message for Captain Sparrow. 

"Find Sparrow for me and relay a message from Capitan Salazar, and tell him… death will come straight for him.”

In the latest instalment titled Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Jack Sparrow is pursued by an old rival, Captain Salazar, who along with his crew of ghost pirates has escaped from the Devil's Triangle, and is determined to kill every pirate at sea. 

Jack seeks the Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that grants its possessor total control over the seas.

The film is set to be released in cinemas in May 2017.
