Kelly Brook the latest beach babe in talks for <em>Baywatch</em> film

Los Angeles - Kelly Brook has confirmed she's in the running for a role in the Baywatch film.

The 36-year-old beauty has had a read-through of the script and has had talks with producers about a part in the movie - based on the hugely popular TV series which starred Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff - but she doesn't yet know if she will be joining the cast which already includes Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.

In an interview on Alan Carr New Year's Specstacular, she said: "They're remaking Baywatch with Zac Efron and The Rock. But they are still writing it. I've read the script and they are rewriting it so I don't know if there is a role in there for me. I'm a bit old to play Pamela Anderson role so I don't know, but I know all the producers and it's funny and we'll see. I don't know."

Kelly is sure if she does end up appearing in the movie she will end up in a bikini or less because most roles she takes on require her to flaunt her enviable figure.

Host Alan quizzed the busty brunette on her swimming ability, asking: "I've seen you swimming in that film Piranha and that current must have been strong because it took all of your clothes off. Can you swim?"

To which Kelly replied: "Yeah I can. I end up in a bikini in most things I do."

Other famous beauties said to be in the running for roles in Baywatch include Kate Upton, 23, Charlotte McKinney, 22, and Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, 19.
